Last week, Andy joined Bulls & Bears to discuss President Trump’s firm stance that Republicans will be the party of health care for the people. Andy agreed with the president, noting throughout the interview that competition in health care will ultimately improve quality and lower costs, which is precisely what Republicans stand for.

He used Singapore’s health care model as an example of what a successful system looks like. Andy noted that the only thing in history that has ever reduced prices and increased quality is competition. When the government gets involved, competition disappears, quality declines and prices increase. He is hopeful Republicans come together behind a bill prior to the 2020 election.
