Yesterday, Andy joined Varney & Co. to discuss the Hong Kong protests during the Chinese celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Communist Party rule, the pressure it has put on China and what it means for our economy. Andy argued that this civil unrest will do a lot to reinforce President Trump’s position in the China negotiations, which will ultimately help our economy.
“We’ve now got a president who’s challenging China…We’re seeing weakness in the economy, we’re seeing weakness in the country politically… This strengthens our president in negotiating,” argued Andy.
