On Friday, Andy joined Cheryl Casone (filling in for Maria Bartiromo) and Steve Forbes to discuss the December jobs report and the conflicting data it contained. Also discussed was the significant government spending that has driven up the deficit, which is currently near $2 trillion. Andy explained that while revenue has increased, government spending has outpaced it and therefore the deficit is getting larger and larger. “We are spending way too much. We don’t have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem” he concluded.
