Today, Andy joined Varney & Co. to discuss why Elizabeth Warren seems to be slipping in the polls. Andy argued that one of the main reasons is that people are likely reading her proposals and seeing they will harm the economy and those she claims to be protecting.

Next, Varney asked about private equity and why Warren is against it. “Private equity is so important…It’s a big factor with respect to pension funds. Pension funds have about $150 billion invested in private equity. If her law, if her proposals took effect, pension funds for teachers, firemen, policemen would lose $3.6 billion a year in income – which means all of those incomes would be at threat…Why she would want to hurt those people, I can’t imagine,” concluded Andy.
