Today Andy joined Stuart Varney’s show to discuss the implications of states slowing Coronavirus reopenings. When Andy was asked about why certain “blue” states are dragging their heels on reopening, he said, “I don’t think it’s any mystery- they [Democrats] get a political advantage if the economy recovers slowly and particularly if it doesn’t recover fully before November.” Andy went on to add that a few Democratic states like California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois make up roughly a third of the country’s population and will have a major impact on the overall national recovery.
Next, Andy pointed out that while government checks are helpful, they are not able to fully replace jobs or paychecks. “These Democratic governors are willing to put people at risk and businesses at risk purely for political power. It’s about power, it’s a power grab. They’re trying to change the way we vote, the way we do business, the way we think- this is a very, very reprehensible situation.”

In closing, Stuart asked Andy if he agreed that the only way the president can rebuild the economy is if he wins the 2020 election. “He [President Trump] has to win it and if he wins the election, next year is going to be a spectacular year for the United States economy and American workers. We need to stop doing the things that discourage people from working and discourage businesses from growing and start encouraging them again… We need President Trump back in charge come this November and we’ll have a very good year next year,” Andy concluded.
