Yesterday, Andy joined Varney & Co. his op-ed, “Colorado teachers union against capitalism: Can parents trust their kids to this group?” Andy points out how capitalism has lifted billions of people out of poverty and that even Barack Obama supported the system. Andy and Stuart also discussed the problem with how public-school unions ultimately negotiate contracts with a state’s governor (not a traditional employer) and that this is inherently a conflict with all the political campaign contributions unions provide.
