Last night, Andy Skyped into Bulls & Bears to chat with Host David Asman about how COVID-19 is affecting the restaurant industry and small businesses everywhere. First, Andy noted dine-in restaurants will be hit harder than those with drive-throughs with the new mandate of restaurants being closed for sit-down dining at least through the month of March. Next, Andy mentioned his new Fox Business op-ed titled, “Coronavirus crisis calls for Small Business Saturday 2.0 in March – Here’s how it would work,” where he proposes calling on the American people to support struggling and hard hit small businesses by purchasing gift cards online. In closing, Andy said that he feels once we start to see a decline in newly infected patients around the U.S., businesses and the stock market will start to see some normalcy over time.
