Today with Trish Regan, Andy discussed why he believes that President Trump will recover from the joint press conference he had with Russian President Vladimir Putin, after being criticized from both sides of the aisle on his performance.
“Hopefully today, he’ll explain more of what he meant about what happened,” said Andy. “There’s been many times when people have been very critical of this president and then two, four, six months later it turns out that what he said was actually right… I think we need to move on from this.”
Andy agrees President Trump could have handled the Helsinki meeting a lot better yesterday, but his comments today reaffirm and clarify his belief in the strength of the U.S. intelligence community.
