Yesterday, Andy joined Mornings with Maria to speak about the inflation crisis and how it will “severely hurt” the democrats in November’s midterm elections. The two agreed that even though Elizabeth Warren acknowledges this problem, both her and Joe Biden are doubling down on policies that would only make it worse. Also discussed was how - despite the country facing some of the highest gas prices ever - the Biden administration is doing everything it can to stifle energy production in the U.S., including selling oil from the strategic energy reserve at market price. This equals big profit for the government as President Trump bought the oil at a very low price. Andy pointed out that that the government is actually “gouging” oil prices, which is exactly what they are accusing the oil companies of doing.
