Today, Andy joined After the Bell to share his perspective on both the COVID-19 restaurant restrictions in New York City and Joe Biden’s presumptive economic plan.
When asked about the continued indoor dining restraints in New York restaurants, Andy argued, “They should open for indoor dining… Restaurants are essential to the economy. New York has about 10% of our country’s GDP. The jobs numbers that just came out- restaurants added 500,000 jobs… This is an important segment of our economy.”

Lastly, Andy was questioned about his recent Real Clear Politics op-ed on Joe Biden’s economic plan and argued that massive government spending can’t compete with President Trump’s deregulation and tax reduction policies, saying, “You can’t tax and spend your way to prosperity.”
