Last night, Andy joined Edward Lawrence (filling in for Liz MacDonald) on “The Evening Edit.” The two discussed how the White House is blaming the delta variant as a reason for inflation.
Andy pointed out that the government paying people to stay home is the real problem – people need to get back to work. He also made the important point that in order to stop inflation the government needs to stop spending so much money and stop printing so much money.
Also discussed was how inflation is affecting energy prices and how Biden asked OPEC to produce more oil. Andy very much argued that if more oil is needed, the U.S. should produce more oil HERE, in our country, and not offshore.
